1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, save information in your browser in the same way. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
2. Your choice
When you first visit this website we ask whether you agree to cookies that are not strictly necessary. Until you agree, we only use cookies that are strictly necessary, such as the one that remembers your choice. Analytics, A/B testing and marketing cookies are only used if you agree to them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing this website's cookies and storage in your browser settings, after which we will ask you again.
3. The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: remember your cookie choice, keep you signed in if you sign in, and carry a click through one of our short links. These do not need your consent.
- Analytics (with your consent): count visits and pages viewed, so we can see how the website is used and improve it.
- A/B testing (with your consent): keep you on the same version of a page while we test two versions.
- Marketing (with your consent): remember which advert or campaign brought you here, so we can measure our advertising, and remember a referral link you followed (from one of our partners, or a friend) so whoever introduced you can be credited if you sign up on a later visit. Without your consent a referral link is only remembered while you stay on the website, and nothing is saved in your browser.
The full list of cookie and storage names, what each one does and how long it lasts is in section 11 of our Privacy Policy. It is generated from the same list our website scripts use, so the two always match.
4. More information
How we use any personal data these cookies collect is explained in our Privacy Policy. If you have a question, contact privacy@mr-digital.co.uk.
